Exports may surge 12-15% to cross US$ 500 billion this fiscal: FIEO

The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) projects a significant rise in the country's merchandise exports, estimating an increase of US$ 60-70 billion to reach US$ 500 billion by the end of FY25. In the previous FY24, exports experienced a slight decline of over 3%, totalling US$ 437 billion.

FIEO President Mr. Ashwini Kumar anticipates that services exports will also grow, reaching approximately US$ 390-400 billion in the current fiscal year. He highlighted the pivotal role of traditional markets such as the US and Europe in driving India's export growth.
