The conflict in Ukraine and other topics were discussed during a meeting on Wednesday between Belarusian counterpart Mr. Vladimir Makei and India's Minister for External Affairs, Mr. S. Jaishankar.
Mr. Makei began a three-day tour here on Wednesday morning.
Belarus and India share a strong partnership. Through Foreign Office Consultations (FOCs), the India-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission (IGC), and the Commission on Military Technical Cooperation, both nations have set up institutions for sharing viewpoints on bilateral, regional, and global issues.
It has been reported that Mr. Jaishankar and Mr. Makei's discussions included a significant discussion on the conflict in Ukraine.
Mr. Jaishankar also had a meeting with a group from the Indian diaspora and the American Jewish Committee.
