He said, “We are improving skills in emerging technology roles with the speed of digital adoption exponentially accelerating and dramatically intensifying our hiring efforts in the coming year”

In India, EY has more than 50,000 employees serving in all its member companies, including global distribution centres.

Currently, 36% of all workers at EY India are from STEM backgrounds, it said.

EY said it has a comprehensive approach to digital transformation and innovation, including many proprietary digital tools and technologies such as EY Asterisk (supply chain planning solutions) and EY Symphony, integrated across all its service offerings and sectors (integrated governance, risk, controls and compliance platform)

Mr. Mahesh Makhija, Partner and Technology Consulting Leader, EY India, said, “EY is creating a wider range of new digital proprietary methods and solutions in India that it aims to scale through organisations and geographies.”
