The Foreign Minister of Israel, Mr. Eli Cohen, and his Indian counterpart, Mr. S. Jaishankar, in a telephone call discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties, which also included the ways to promote free trade agreements (FTAs) and projects in the field of innovation, food, and water security.
The events of 2022 were also discussed by the ministers in order to mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of full diplomatic ties between the two countries, and the cooperation of Israel, India, UAE, and the US (I2U2). These four countries are collaborating on major infrastructure projects to strengthen economic ties under the I2U2 forum.
Mr. S. Jaishankar also invited the Israeli Minister, Mr. Eli Cohen, who has recently been appointed by the Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, for an official visit to India soon.
