Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi stated on Monday that the Union Budget for FY23 will go a long way toward implementing and realising the National Education Policy's goals (NEP).  The National Education Policy (NEP) was launched in 2020 with the goal of revising and revamping all aspects of the education structure. The budget emphasised universalisation of excellent education and a focus on the Animation Visual Effects Gaming Comic (AVGV) field.

Crucial decisions have been made to ensure universal access to high-quality education through expanding educational sector's capacities. The creation of a digital skill ecosystem, skill development in line with industry demand, and greater industry linkages are other priorities. It is also critical to include India's ancient experience and understanding of urban planning and design into schooling. The budget also emphasised internationalisation, which includes the arrival of foreign universities and the support of GIFT City institutions to establish fintech-related institutes. Efforts like e-Vidya, One Class One Channel, digital labs, and digital universities are laying the groundwork for an educational infrastructure that will benefit the country's youth and deliver better education options to rural, poor, Dalits, backwards, and tribal people in the country's socioeconomic structure.

The medical and technical education delivered in local languages in several states, and the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi urged for a surge in the creation of high-quality digital material in Indian languages. These must be accessible via the internet, mobile phones, television, and radio.
