According to a report, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations have opened over 90 new tech centres in 2025, creating approximately 450,000 positions for Indian workers. With the rapid growth of tech hubs within the GCC, there is now a strong demand from GCC countries for highly skilled, already established Indian professionals to work in various sectors such as software development, IT services, and Cloud Computing, Digital Transformation, Education Technology, Financial Services Technology (FinTech), Healthcare Technology, and other Digital Technologies due to the increased presence of global and regional Technology Companies in the GCC.
A growing number of technology centres is indicative of the change in the flow of human capital across borders, as well as the growing number of Indian citizens who are working within international technology networks. Several job opportunities have arisen from this continued collaboration between government entities, technology companies, and educational institutions to develop skilled workers to fill the future demand for digital workers. This data indicates that India has an excellent reputation for producing highly skilled technology workers who are in high demand internationally. As the investment in technology infrastructure within GCC countries continues to grow, it is anticipated that more Indian job seekers will have access to jobs in new digital fields, thereby reinforcing India as a key player in the global technology workforce.
