German Firm B+H Solutions to Invest US$ 1.17 million in India to Expand Nano-Fertiliser Business

German agritech company B+H Solutions GmbH plans to invest Rs. 11.12 crore (US$ 1.17 million) in India in 2026 to expand its nano-fertiliser business. The company stated that its global sales reached Rs. 222.34 crore (US$ 23.30 million) in 2025., betting on rising demand for metal-based crop inputs and stronger acceptance of nanotechnology among Indian farmers. The company, which operates in India through Dr Heinisch Agro Solutions India Private Limited, said the investment comes after it secured Fertiliser Control Order (FCO) registration for its AgroCopper nano-copper product. It is now seeking approval for nano iron as well, while positioning its products as “fertiliser plus” solutions that improve nutrient efficiency, strengthen plant immunity and reduce disease pressure. B+H Solutions said global sales reached Rs. 222.34 crore (US$ 23.30 million) in 2025, underscoring the scale of its existing business as it deepens its India push.

The company currently has eight products in India, including AgroBeize, which was developed specifically for Indian agriculture and is also registered as a disinfectant. Its metal-based nanotechnology portfolio uses silver, copper and other trace elements, with the company citing improved crop performance in trials and claiming yield gains of up to 30% across crops such as tomatoes, chillies, black pepper, pomegranates and flowers. B+H Solutions began operations in Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Karnataka and is now expanding into Rajasthan through a mix of in-house sales teams and distribution partners. The company says Indian farmers have been more receptive to nanotechnology than those in Germany, and it is targeting steady expansion across the country as awareness of sustainable and resource-efficient inputs rises.
