Government targets to achieve US$ 100 billion export for textile products by 2030

Ms. Darshana Jardosh, Union Minister of State for Textiles informed that the Government of India is taking various steps to boost exports of Indian textiles in view of a large global market.

The textile exports (textiles and apparel, including handicrafts) stood at US$ 44.44 billion in FY2021-22, whereas it was US$ 31.59 billion in FY2020-21, and in the current fiscal year, it was US$ 21.15 billion from April-October.

The Government aims to achieve US$ 100 billion in export for textile products by 2030.
