Greenzo Energy, a homegrown green energy solutions provider, has partnered with France-based Energy Observer Developments (EODev) to market hydrogen fuel cell power generators in India and Nepal. The collaboration will distribute EODev's zero-emission GEH2® hydrogen fuel cell generators, powered by Toyota technology, across high-demand sectors, including agriculture, telecom, and transportation. These generators, which produce electricity and heat through hydrogen and oxygen electrochemical reactions, are set to replace traditional diesel generators, supporting India’s goal to reduce fossil fuel dependency. Greenzo Energy will also provide maintenance services and manage local assembly of EODev products, aiming to meet the region's rising demand for clean energy solutions.
Greenzo Energy's founder and managing director, Mr. Sandeep Agarwal, expressed confidence in the partnership's potential, projecting a business value of US$ 10 million (Rs. 85 crore) in the first year of operations. He highlighted the company’s technical expertise, extensive network, and capability to deliver efficient maintenance operations. CEO of EODev, Mr. Jeremie Lagarrigue, noted that this collaboration marks a significant step in expanding EODev’s footprint in India and Nepal, where sustainable energy solutions are crucial for the energy transition. The partnership aligns with the increasing demand for emission-free energy alternatives and supports India’s sustainability goals.
