GST revenues rise 11% to US$ 17 billion (Rs. 1.46 lakh crore) in November 2022

The gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) collected in the month of November 2022, recorded a jump of 11% on a year-on-year basis and the amount collected stood at US$ 17 Billion (Rs. 1,45,687 Crore).
Out of the gross GST revenue generated in November 2022, CGST amounts to US$ 3 billion (Rs. 25,681 crores), SGST adds up to US$ 4 billion (Rs. 32,651 crores) and lastly, IGST equals US$ 9 billion (Rs. 77,103 Crore). The revenues from the import of goods are 20% higher, while the revenues generated from the domestic transactions (including import of services) are 8% higher than that of the revenues from these sources, during the same month last year.
