HR tech start-up Keka raises US$ 57 million in series A funding by WestBridge

Keka, a Hyderabad-based HR IT startup, has raised US$ 57 million in series A funding, with WestBridge Capital serving as the lead investor.

It surpasses the previous top place by US$ 1 million to become India's largest enterprise tech series A funding round.

As the company grows its engineering, product, and customer support teams and enhances its product, the investment will aid the business in research and development.

Keka streamlines and automates payroll, hiring, leave and attendance, performance management, and other processes for Indian SMEs with 20 to 5,000 employees.

The company claimed to manage more than 1.5 million employees per month and have more than 6,500 customers from a wide range of industries.
