In April, NMDC's iron ore productivity increased by 11.42% to 3.51 MT

As per National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), there has been a rise of 11.42% in its iron ore production of 3.51 million tonnes (MT) in April, 2023. During the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) filing, NMDC mentioned that it produced 3.15 MT of iron ore in the same month last year.

The company has recorded a rise in sales by around 10% which led to 3.34 MT from 3.12 MT in April, 2022.

In addition to exploring for iron ore, Hyderabad-based NMDC is also engaged in copper, rock phosphate, limestone, dolomite, gypsum, and other minerals.
