Increase in the number of passengers under the UDAN Scheme

The Minister of State in the Ministry of Civil Aviation Gen. (Dr.) V.K. Singh (Retd), informed that more than 1.23 crore passengers have travelled on Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) Flights since the commencement of the scheme.

There have been 148 airports built or operationalised as of today, including nine heliports, and two water aerodromes.
