British Airways is strengthening its long-standing presence in India by expanding services to meet the country’s rapidly rising travel demand. Operating in India for over 100 years, the airline currently offers 56 weekly flights connecting major Indian cities to London, including three daily flights from Mumbai, two daily flights from New Delhi, and daily services from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. The carrier continues to expand its employment footprint in the country, with dedicated crew bases across all Indian cities it serves, and a large customer support centre, CallBA, located in Gurugram, Haryana, employing nearly 2,000 staff. These teams play a key role in delivering personalised, multilingual service and supporting customers across the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

British Airways capitalizes on strong partnerships within the Indian market, including a codeshare arrangement with IndiGo and a joint business venture with Qatar Airways. Through these collaborations, the airline offers 148 weekly one-way flights to 13 cities in India, improving connectivity and options for travelers. The airline persists in investing in customer-focused services, such as the Meet and Assist program launched in March 2025 for passengers needing extra support. With significant market expansion, increasing outbound travel, and stronger India–UK economic relationships, British Airways is dedicated to broadening its operations and aiding India in becoming a global aviation center.
