Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Piyush Goyal, addressed the ‘UAE India Business Summit’ during the 10th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The Union Minister highlighted the goal of expanding bilateral trade between India and the UAE to US$ 100 billion, emphasizing the diverse collaboration areas, such as space exploration, security, education, and climate action.
Mr. Goyal praised the India-UAE partnership and noted the growth in trade under the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and key initiatives like the India-Middle East-Europe economic corridor. The Union Minister of Commerce and Industry envisioned the partnership as a defining alliance of the 21st century and expressed gratitude for the contributions of UAE leaders and business figures. Mr. Goyal invited investors to participate in India's growth story, citing the nation's demographic advantage and young, aspirational population.
