India going ahead with Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan, Jai Anusandhan: Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi

On Saturday, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi declared that science is not only the foundation for answers, development, and innovation, but also the motivation behind the advancement of the modern India through the slogans Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan, and Jai Anusandhan. He made the comment while opening the "Centre-State Science Conclave" in Ahmedabad via video conference.

The government is working with the philosophy of science-based development, the he reaffirmed. The Prime Minister said, "Since 2014, there has been a significant rise in investment in the field of science and technology, and as a result of the government's efforts, India is now placed 46th in the Global Innovation Index, up from 81st in 2015." He also admitted that the nation was now registering a record number of patents.
