India is the trusted partner of the world, says Minister Mr. Piyush Goyal during US visit

Mr. Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Textiles, while on a six-day visit to San Francisco and Los Angeles, emphasised India's stable economic conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic and claimed that the nation has established itself as the trusted partner of the world. He was speaking at a luncheon interaction with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Mr. Goyal asked Chartered Accountants (CAs) to promote the fantastic investment prospects back home to their clients and be ambassadors of Brand India. He urged everyone to choose "Made in India" products when giving gifts, while also asking them to spread the message of One District One Product.

Mr. Goyal also mentioned economic reforms in India, such as the implementation of the GST, and emphasised the country's economic developments. India's growth rates indicate that in 30 years, the country’s GDP would grow to a US$ 30 trillion value.
