The I2U2 collaboration comprising India, Israel, the UAE, and the US have reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening their economic ties and have evaluated potential initiatives to achieve the group's goals, and taken stock of ongoing sustainable energy and agricultural projects.

The first Leaders' Summit of I2U2, which was conducted virtually in July 2022, featured participation from Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of Israel Mr. Yair Lapid, President of the UAE Mr. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and US President Mr. Joe Biden.

The group's goal is to promote collaborative investments in six sectors that have been unanimously agreed upon, including water, energy, transportation, space, health, and food security.

The I2U2 grouping was proposed during the October 2021 conference of the four countries' Foreign Ministers.
