India jumps on 5th position as 20 companies feature in world’s valuable list: Hurun Global 500 List 2022

India’s rank jumps to 5th position from 9th position with 20 companies featured in the 2022 Hurun Global 500 List. These companies are based in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Noida, New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata.
According to the list, Reliance Industries is the most valuable company (with a US$ 202 billion valuation), followed by Tata Consultancy Services and HDFC Bank (with US$ 139 billion and US$ 97 billion valuations, respectively). The US topped the 2022 Hurun Global 500 list, whereas China ranked second with 35 companies, and was followed by Japan, UK, India and Canada.
The report also showcased that Adani Group had four new entrants such as Adani Transmission, Adani Green Energy, Adani Enterprises and Adani Total Gas with a total valuation of $173 billion.
