India Marks Largest-Ever Participation at North America’s Summer Fancy Food Show 2026 with Inauguration of India Pavilion

India strengthened its global food export presence with the inauguration of its largest-ever India Pavilion at the Summer Fancy Food Show 2026, held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York on June 28, 2026. Jointly organised by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) and the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the pavilion showcases more than 70 Indian exhibitors across diverse product categories, including basmati rice, spices, ready-to-eat foods, beverages, organic products, frozen foods, snacks and value-added agricultural products. The pavilion also features dedicated showcases for premium Indian mango varieties and basmati rice, demonstrating the quality, diversity and global appeal of India's agricultural produce. The initiative highlights India's emergence as one of the world's fastest-growing food export destinations while promoting Indian brands among international buyers, retailers and distributors.

The participation comes at a time of growing demand for authentic Indian food products in global markets. According to trade estimates, the North American market for Indian consumer packaged food products presents an opportunity of Rs. 2.81-4.68 lakh crore (US$ 30-50 billion) over the coming decade, driven by rising consumer preference for premium ingredients, trusted brands and authentic flavours. The India Pavilion provides Indian exporters with a strategic platform to strengthen brand visibility, expand market access and build long-term business partnerships in the United States. It also reflects India's commitment to enhancing the global competitiveness of its agricultural and processed food sector while supporting farmers, manufacturers, exporters and other stakeholders across the food value chain.
