India Mining Week 2026, the country’s largest conference-cum-exhibition for the mining and minerals sector, hosted ‘India Mining: Global Connect’, bringing together representatives of diplomatic missions from 19 countries to discuss international participation and collaboration in India’s mining and minerals sector. The interaction was organised ahead of India Mining Week 2026, scheduled for November 15-17, 2026, at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi by the Ministry of Coal and the Ministry of Mines in association with the mining industry. The event was hosted by Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Mr. Satish Chandra Dubey, and Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Ms. Rupinder Brar. Representatives from Malawi, Sri Lanka, Mozambique, Algeria, the US, Chile, Bhutan, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Russia, Iraq, Morocco, Venezuela, Spain, Poland, Mongolia, Zambia, France and Ghana, along with the US Chamber of Commerce, participated in the interaction. The discussions focused on international cooperation and participation, including critical minerals, mineral exploration, mining technology, investment, trade and resource development.
India Mining Week 2026 is expected to bring together more than 25,000 industry professionals and decision-makers, over 500 exhibitors and technology providers, more than 200 speakers, over 100 conference sessions and technical presentations, more than 1,000 government and public sector undertaking (PSU) delegates and over 300 mining and mineral companies, with participation expected from more than 50 countries. The event will feature a high-level conference, international exhibition, technical sessions, leadership dialogues, business-to-business meetings, technology demonstrations and product launches. Discussions will cover coal, metals, critical minerals, exploration, mining technology, automation, mine safety, sustainability, mineral processing and resource efficiency. The international outreach is expected to facilitate participation by country delegations, government and institutional representatives, business delegations, technical experts, mining and mineral companies, technology providers, equipment manufacturers, investors and research institutions, strengthening opportunities for global collaboration in India’s mining and minerals sector.
