India Pavilion set to Showcase Opportunities in Steel Sector at EXPO2020 Dubai; Union Steel Minister Ram Chandra Prasad Singh to Inaugurate Today

From March 11th, 2022, the India Pavilion at EXPO 2020 in Dubai will hold 'Steel Week.' Which will be inaugurated by Mr Ram Chandra Prasad Singh Ministry of Steel. The week-long event, which will end on March 17, 2022, will promote India's steel sector's competence and display a variety of options as well as business potential.

Senior officials from Mubadala Investment Company in Abu Dhabi will meet with the group to discuss investment opportunities in the Indian steel sector. Senior officials from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, UAE-based steel producers, and steel users have scheduled meetings to discuss prospects for collaboration with Indian steel businesses and to exhibit investment opportunities in India. During the week, a special session will be held on the Rs.6,322 crore (US$ 827.94 million) Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) plan for Specialty Steel. The team will also pay a visit to some of the most well-known country pavilions.
