According to India Exim Bank, the country's merchandise exports are expected to reach US$ 111.3 billion in the fourth quarter of this fiscal year. It also added that non-oil exports are likely to reach US$ 95.2 billion in the fourth quarter of FY22, with total merchandise outbound shipping reaching US$ 414 billion for FY 2022.

This compared to total exports of US$ 90.4 billion and non-oil exports of US$ 82.2 billion in the same quarter the previous year. The increase in India's exports can be ascribed in part to the country's ongoing worldwide growth momentum, which has resulted in an increase in global import demand, as well as favourable global commodity prices.
