India's TWS shipments registered an 85% growth in 2022 and boAt led: Report

According to a new report by Counterpoint Research, India’s true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds shipments registered an 85% year-on-year growth in 2022, with boAt leading the market for the third time in a row.
As per the report, boAt registered an 89% year-on-year increase while contributing two-fifths of the total shipments. Airdopes 131 was the top-selling model for the second consecutive year with a 10% share of the total TWS market shipments.
Additionally, the top five spots in the TWS market of India were captured by local brands. Noise brand occupied the second spot with a 2x year-on-year growth and Boult Audio grabbed the third spot with a 167% year-on-year growth. It was further followed by Mivi which grew by 544%.
It was further reported that domestic manufacturing saw rapid growth and contributed about 30% of the total shipments in 2022.
