Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, marking 11 years of his leadership, affirmed that India has emerged as the fastest-growing major economy and a key global voice on critical issues such as climate action and digital innovation. Reflecting on the journey, he emphasised that a strong focus on good governance, social justice, and inclusive development has driven the government. Highlighting that 60% of current Union ministers belong to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), he underscored the government's commitment to empowering marginalised communities, calling it the highest representation ever in the Union Council of Ministers.
In a message to citizens, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi stated that India's transformation over the past 11 years has been powered by the collective participation of 140 crore people. Programmes such as Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana, and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi have uplifted millions, placing the welfare of people with low incomes at the centre of governance. He reiterated the guiding principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,’ noting achievements such as over 81 crore people receiving free food grains, over 15 crore tap water connections, four crore houses built for people experiencing poverty, 12 crore toilets constructed, 68 lakh loans to street vendors, 52.5 crore loans to small entrepreneurs, and cash assistance to 20 crore women during the COVID-19 pandemic. He expressed pride in the collective success while calling for renewed resolve in building a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India).
