India set to be leader in green hydrogen: Petroleum Minister Puri at Davos

India is committed to green energy more than any other country in the world, according to Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, and Housing & Urban Affairs, Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri. Green hydrogen, biofuel mixing, and biofuel discovery and production from alternate sources are all being prioritised, he stated while addressing the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2022.

He predicted that India will eventually lead the green hydrogen revolution. The aim of 20% ethanol blend has been pushed ahead from 2030 to 2025, he said, and he believes that it will be met.
