According to ratings agency Moody's, India is expected to see the second largest earnings growth of 51% among key Asian peers in the three-year period (2019-2022), driven by the large proportion of commodity producers in these countries which are benefiting from high spot prices this year.

India's progress is the strongest of the five nations, as seen by its 51% increase in earnings and 1.6x increase in leverage.

EBITDA for Electronic Manufacturing Services companies is anticipated to increase 28% in 2022 compared to 2019 on an aggregate basis. The concentration of rated businesses in sectors that are reporting exceptional earnings this year is largely responsible for the increase in EM earnings.
