India is all set to assume the presidency of the G20 grouping from December 1, 2022, until November 30, 2023. While formally assuming the G20 Presidency, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi mentioned in an article that the country will work in promoting the universal sense of one-ness. The agenda of India’s G-20 Presidency focuses on the five basic elements- earth, water, fire, air, and space, therefore, the theme: “One Earth, One Family, One Future”.
PM Modi also stated that during the Presidency, India’s priorities will focus on presenting India’s learnings and experiences to the rest of the world, particularly the developing world. Along with that, healing our planet, creating harmony within our “One Family”, and giving hope to “Our Future” will also be prioritized.
