Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) estimates that India will have a US$ 35-45 trillion economy in 2047, putting the nation in the league of developed nations, according to Mr. Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles. This is based on an assessment of the impact of the structural transformation and foundational changes that have occurred over the past few years.

Inviting the Southern California business community to make investments in India, Mr. Goyal stated that the Indian economy may be viewed as a driving force behind world growth in 2047. He urged the business community to join the nation's effort to become a developed country, saying, "This is a golden time to invest in India. I invite you all to be a part of India's journey towards becoming a developed nation. I urge you all to resolve to gift Made in India products, to gift handlooms, handicrafts, and khadi made by the artisans of India."

With agreement reached by the partner nations on ministerial statements for each of the four IPEF pillars—Trade, Supply Chains, Clean Economy, and Fair Economy—the IPEF ministerial summit in Los Angeles came to an end on Friday.
