India's Cumulative COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage exceeds 133.17 Cr

India’s COVID vaccination coverage has exceeded 133.17 crore (1,331 million) post 19.75 lakh (1.975 million) doses administered during the last 24 hours (As per provisional reports till 7 am on 13th December, 2021).

India’s recovery rate stands at 98.37% as total 3.41 crore (34.1 million) patients recovered since the beginning of the pandemic of which 7,973 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.

Collective efforts by both the state and the center have helped in maintaining daily cases below 15,000 for 46 consecutive days. Active caseloads now are at 91,456, lowest in 561 days. Testing frequency continues to expand with 8.55 lakhs (0.85 million) testing being done taking the total tally to over 65.66 crore (656.6 million) on a cumulative basis. Both daily and weekly positivity rate is below 1% with daily positivity rate at 0.86% and weekly positivity rate at 0.69%.
