India's First Kids Fintech App - 'Birdfin' that Enables Financial and Life Skills Learning

For young people, financial preparation can be tedious and at times, complicated. It is also imperative that these behaviours are instilled in children at an early age by developing a stimulating learning atmosphere, whether it is teaching the importance of hard work, earning, or saving.

Learning cash no longer needs to be a gruelling exercise. Your children will be on their way to master their objectives, with a few easy tips provided by Birdfin. It may simply help children learn the techniques of money management, motivate them to earn and systematically save more.

Via gamification, Birdfin is expected to revolutionise the field of learning financial habits. Developed on the entire money management life cycle, i.e. studying, earning, spending, and saving, the app allows parents to schedule assignments for their children and give digital currency in exchange.

The Founders added, In addition, parents can approve or reassign a mission, the platform provides Crystal as a digital currency.

Kids are allowed to win Crystals when they complete a household task successfully. By turning these crystals into real money, they can raise, handle, save and invest them so that they get a first-hand experience of handling money on their own by channelling the savings to the bank accounts of children. Birdfin is a web-based app created by MyDigitalCube (accessible on any device) and was released on October 31st, 2020.

The team of co-founders has Mr. Sandeep Suri (Ex-Fidelity & Executive Coach & Mentor), Mr. Ritesh Mehrotra (Ex-Fidelity & Entrepreneur), Mr. Swapan Kumar Dutta (Entrepreneur & Career Coach), Mr. Rajeev Chadha (Ex-Accenture) from the financial services and IT industries. Ms. Supriya Radhakrishnan, PhD candidate in Applied Behaviour Educational Psychology from Baylor University, Texas, USA, as an adviser.

Amazon (for the affiliate programme), CRY (for their involvement with local chapters around the country), Shamrock School, Mohali (as their educational partners), Vicky sports (as their Sports & Fitness partners), and Srimiri (as their Nutritious Food partners) have been successfully linked up with Birdfin.

With Birdfin, the team envisages a future in which children remain important by understanding the value of money and are well placed to benefit from financial literacy once the clock ticks over on their 18th birthday.
