‘Industry leaders’ role crucial in India’s mission to become Atma Nirbhar’: Vice President Mr. Jagdeep Dhankhar

Vice President Mr. Jagdeep Dhankhar urged business and industry leaders to play a constructive role in India's mission to become Atma Nirbhar. He expressed faith in the competency and efficiency of Indian business. According to him, India is depending on its entrepreneurial youth to fuel economic growth by developing new firms, new jobs, new exports, and new solutions to developmental difficulties.

Underlining the government's multiple attempts to upskill and "make India's firms and workforce world class," the Vice President urged industry to take responsibility for promoting and upgrading the workforce with the most up-to-date skill sets. He praised India's startup sector as one of the best in the world, noting that "digital entrepreneurs are beginning to arise even in tiny towns and rural areas." He went on to say that India's abundant human resources are widely recognised around the world, and that they must be fully utilised to maximise India's advantage on the global arena.
