Infra, manufacturing offer opportunities to French investors: Mr. Piyush Goyal

While addressing the India France Business Summit in Paris, the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles, Mr. Piyush Goyal said “Huge delta of opportunities are there in India”. He added that France is India's preferred partner in terms of defence, economy, and investments.

With the promotion of domestic manufacturing, India is luring capital and technology into the defence industry from all over the world. He further informed the French investors that “Exports of goods and services are growing by over 50% and we hope to continue this growth trajectory. We hope to see our exports of goods and services triple from US$ 765 billion to US$ 2 trillion by 2030”.

He also remarked that the Indian economy is likely to grow from US$ 3.5 trillion to US$ 35 trillion in the next 25 years.
