He credited the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council for its significant role in driving exports. He noted that India has built a vast tech ecosystem, with 1,58,000 registered start-ups, including 78,000 in the technology domain. The country also facilitates 18 billion monthly transactions through the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), demonstrating the scale achieved in the software sector.

He emphasised India's focus on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and semiconductors, aiming to replicate this growth across new industries. He stated that multiple ministries, including STPI, actively support start-ups and innovation. Over 50% of start-ups originate from tier-II and tier-III cities, and over half are led by women, reflecting inclusive growth. He reiterated that the government encourages entrepreneurship and technological advancements to strengthen India's position as a global IT powerhouse.
