L’Oréal to set up first global tech hub in Hyderabad; plans US$ 420 million investment, 2,000 jobs by 2030

L'Oréal, a global beauty and personal care company, has announced its first global technology hub in Hyderabad, India, as part of a broader global investment in digital and AI operations. The Global Capability Centre (GCC) will be a part of L'Oréal's global technology network, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, digital engineering, and advanced beauty technologies. L'Oréal anticipates an investment of Rs. 3,500 crores (US$ 420 million) in the GCC by the year 2030, and projects that it will create approximately 2,000 specialised jobs in areas such as AI, data science, engineering, and technology. The information was publicly announced at the World Economic Forum and reinforces L'Oréal's belief in the technology talent available in India, as well as the fast-growing innovator community in Hyderabad.
As a global technology leader, L'Oréal's new GCC for beauty technology in Hyderabad is a major part of L'Oreal's digital transformation.
