Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) secures orders totalling more than US$ 304 million (Rs. 2,500 crore) in both India and abroad

According to Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), it has bagged orders worth over US$ 304 million (Rs. 2,500 crore) in the domestic and offshore markets.

They further mentioned that large orders to be built up on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis have been acquired by its affiliate Larsen & Toubro Construction's Power Transmission and Distribution (PT&D) division.

The company in Saudi Arabia has obtained two orders to build 380-kilovolt overhead electricity transmission lines linking important communities along the Red Sea coast. According to the corporation, another contract is to design, provide, and build a 380-kilovolt substation in Saudi Arabia's central province.

With new orders from a prestigious Gujarat DISCOM, the PT&D company in India maintained its winning trend in the Revamped Reforms Based and Results-Linked Distribution Sector (RDSS Scheme) projects. In three districts of Gujarat's southern area, distribution infrastructure construction and modernisation are part of the project's scope, according to the statement by the company.
