In 2022, Apple's India plants will manufacture around 11-12 million iPhones, which is expected to contribute 5-7% of the company's global iPhone shipments.

In India, the three plants of the tech giant would manufacture iPhones to fulfil 85% of the domestic demand, touching record highs in 2022.

"The company is also gearing up to produce the iPhone 14 locally, beginning production much sooner than the older generation iPhones launch dates”, said Mr. Saynam Chaurasia, an analyst at Canalys.

According to renowned Apple analyst Mr. Ming Chi Kuo, Apple will unveil the iPhone 14 series at its "Far Out" presentation on September 7. Foxconn, one of the tech giant's contract manufacturers in India, is expected to manufacture a limited batch of the upcoming range.
