Minister of State for Commerce & Industry Smt. Anupriya Patel launches Indian Business Portal - e-commerce marketplace

Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Ms. Anupriya Patel launched the Indian Business Portal - an International Trade Hub for Indian Exporters and Foreign Buyers. FIEO, in collaboration with GlobalLinker, has created the Indian Business Portal. This B2B digital marketplace is designed to help SME exporters, artists, and farmers find new markets for their products and increase their global sales. The portal is expected to meet several components of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, including digitising exporters, promoting MSME, and encouraging more exports of Made in India products.

The FIEO GlobalLinker platform has more than 14000 SMEs enrolled, with over 40,000 products and services posted on Business Portal. FIEO would promote the marketplace globally to assist Indian exporters, SMEs, and artisans in marketing their products and services on a global scale. The portal would provide an option for international consumers to directly buy from craftsmen and exporters who offer lesser quantities of their items, as well as the ability to establish buyer and seller meetings.
