Ministries, firms from 20-plus nations to join India Energy Storage Week 2025

Government officials and industry leaders from more than 20 countries are set to participate in the 11th edition of India Energy Storage Week (IESW) 2025, scheduled from July 8 to July 10, 2025, at the Yashobhoomi Convention and Expo Centre in New Delhi. The event, hosted by the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), is expected to draw over 1,000 companies and 150 key partners and exhibitors from countries including Australia, Germany, France, the United Kingdom (UK), Finland, Canada, the United States (US), Israel, and South Korea. Supported by the Australian and German governments as country partners, the event will feature dedicated country pavilions, strengthening international cooperation in the energy storage sector.
IESW 2025 will showcase emerging and next-generation energy storage technologies such as vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFB), solid-state batteries, lithium-sulphur, sodium-ion batteries, and more. A key highlight is the platform’s role in bridging global markets, presenting Indian innovations to the international battery and energy storage community, while facilitating the entry of foreign companies into India’s rapidly expanding battery market. President of IESA, Mr. Debmalaya Sen, emphasised that these global partnerships aim to foster seamless dialogue between industry and government stakeholders, advancing India’s ambitions in electric vehicles, clean technology, green hydrogen, and battery storage ecosystems.
