According to provisional statistics, India's COVID-19 vaccination coverage has surpassed 143.15 Cr (1,43,15,35,641) in the previous 24 hours, with 64,61,321 vaccine doses administered. This was accomplished after 1,52,69,126 sessions.
The recovery of 7,347 patients in the last 24 hours brings the total number of recovered patients to 3,42,51,292 since the start of the epidemic.
As a result, India's recovery rate has reached 98.40%, its highest level since March 2020.
Sustained and collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States/UTs have maintained the trend of less than 15,000 Daily New Cases for the past 62 days.
In the previous 24 hours, 9,195 new cases have been reported.
The number of active cases in India is currently 77,002. Active cases account for 0.22% of all Positive Cases in the country, the lowest level since March 2020.
In total, India has conducted around 67.52 Cr (67,52,46,143) tests.
Despite increased testing capacity across the country, the Weekly Positivity Rate of 0.68% has remained below 1% for the past 45 days. The Daily Positivity Rate was 0.79%, according to reports. For the past 86 days, the daily Positivity rate has been below 2%, and for the past 121 days, it has been below 3%.
