Mr. Nitin Gadkari approves 4-Laning of Bhiwani-Hansi road section of NH-148B under Bharatmala Pariyojana in Haryana worth Rs. 1,322.13 crore (US$ 161.79 million)

Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Mr. Nitin Gadkari, announced in a series of tweets that the Bharatmala Pariyojana's 4-Laning of Bhiwani-Hansi Road Section in the districts of Bhiwani and Hisar, with a budget of Rs. 1,322.13 crore (US$ 161.79 million), has been authorised. According to him, the project would enable swift transportation and improved inter-district connection in Haryana.

The development of this segment, according to the minister, would also increase the overall effectiveness of long-distance traffic and freight transportation, ensuring a smooth and safe flow of traffic as well as a significant reduction in travel time and vehicle operating cost (VOC).

According to him, the project would help Haryana's fundamental infrastructure grow, which would accelerate the area's overall economic development.
