Mr. Piyush Goyal gives a call to convert the respect India has earned globally into an opportunity to progress economically

Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles, Mr. Piyush Goyal states that we must turn the respect that India has just gained from the rest of the world into an opportunity, and we must turn consumers' demands for their rights into a consciousness of quality.

He added that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has been a role model who has given us the message that we should all work together to make India a developed nation in Amrit Kaal by building an environment that contributes to providing excellent customer service. According to him, upholding consumer rights also entails fostering a green, sustainable economy that would promote healthy living, something that is fundamental to India's culture. He emphasised that the consumer is at the heart of all our actions and the main goal of our efforts should be to gain the consumers' trust.
