National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has introduced a ‘Knowledge Sharing’ platform for sharing of knowledge and innovative best practices. This effort, which is hosted on the NHAI website, will assist the authority in working with specialists and citizens who want to exchange knowledge and views about subjects including road design, construction, road safety, environmental sustainability, and related sectors. The platform will promote the exchange of best practices from all around the world and work to strengthen the nation's national highway system.
The best practices may be posted on the NHAI website (https://ksp.nhai.org/kb/) in the form of video clips, power-point presentations, and in PDF format. The uploaded information on this platform will be reviewed by NHAI officials and will be evaluated for implementation.
NHAI is constructing the National Highway infrastructure at a rapid rate with the help of innovation and contemporary technologies. NHAI is promoting the use of recycled asphalt (RAP) and recycled aggregates (RA) in the construction of national highways in addition to creative uses of recycled resources including fly ash and plastic trash.
