NMDC signs MoU with RailTel for ICT and digital solutions

An MoU encompassing ICT and Digital Transformation Services of NMDC, both at its corporate offices and mining complexes, has been signed by mining powerhouse NMDC and India's RailTel Corp., according to the Ministry of Steel.

This partnership will stress on resource efficiency and increase mineral accountability, laying the groundwork for a significant digital transformation of the mining industry.

This MoU expands upon NMDC's existing relationship with National Railway Telecom, which has been supplying MPLS VPN at 11 of NMDC's locations, Internet Leased Lines (ILL) at seven locations, and high-Definition video conferencing solutions for the previous seven years.
