Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing & Urban Affairs, Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri, commended India's robust economic growth, citing a substantial expansion of 7.6% over the last three quarters. Addressing the audience at the Rozgar Mela, where over lakh appointment letters were distributed to recruits, Puri underscored the noteworthy progress in employment across government, public, private, and informal sectors.
Mr. Puri expressed optimism regarding India's economic trajectory, referencing projections from international analysts and rating agencies, foreseeing India's economy to be among the top three globally within the next five years. Congratulating the newly appointed individuals, he recognized their hard work and dedication. Mr. Puri emphasized the government's commitment to providing equal opportunities for individuals to showcase their capabilities and highlighted the importance of transparency and efficiency in recruitment. He stated, "In addition to the economic expansion, employment across government, public, private, and informal sectors is also experiencing rapid growth. As per international analysts and rating agencies, India's economy is projected to rank among the top three globally in the next five years."
