Over 12.21 LMT paddy has been procured in Kharif Marketing Season 2023-24 in three states benefitting 99,675 farmers

The Kharif Marketing Season (KMS) 2023-24 has just commenced, and as of October 3, 2023, 12.21 lakh metric tonnes (LMT) of paddy had been procured in the states of Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and Haryana, benefiting 99,675 farmers with Minimum Support Price (MSP).
The value of MSP stood at Rs. 2,689.77 crore (US$ 323.1 million).
