With a strong commitment to the Ministry of WCD's initiatives, over 63,000 on-spot registrations have occurred during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY). This impactful journey actively involves children and includes focused awareness drives on children's health issues across various States/UTs. Since the yatra's inception, more than 57,000 children have enthusiastically participated in the 'Swasth Balak Spardha.'
A noteworthy aspect is the active involvement of women, constituting 50% of VBSY participants, showcasing their dedicated pursuit of progress and empowerment. The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) plays a crucial role in supporting the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra nationwide. As part of the initiative, MoWCD engages in the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani (MKMZ)” program, where beneficiaries from each Gram Panchayat share their experiences, emphasizing the positive impact of Anganwadi Services on their lives.
