OYO-owned European holiday home brand DanCenter plans to add 250 vacation homes in India in FY26

Travel technology unicorn OYO has announced ambitious plans to expand its European holiday home brand, DanCenter, by adding 250 vacation homes across India during FY26. This expansion follows the addition of 50 vacation homes in the first quarter, with another 200 expected by the year-end. DanCenter currently operates a network of premium properties, including luxury villas and serviced apartments, in popular destinations such as Lonavala in Maharashtra, Kufri in Himachal Pradesh, Ramgarh in Uttarakhand, Chennai and Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu, Idukki in Kerala, Jaipur in Rajasthan, Bengaluru in Karnataka, and Delhi. The brand also plans to expand its footprint to new regions, including Telangana and the North-East, to meet the growing demand for well-managed, high-quality vacation homes across India.
Originally founded in Denmark in 1957, DanCenter became part of OYO Vacation Homes in 2019 and has since witnessed significant growth in Europe. The brand was launched in India in February 2025, starting with premium villas and apartments in Goa. OYO’s strategic expansion reflects the rising preference among Indian travellers for organised and comfortable holiday stays, signalling a maturing market for luxury vacation homes. This move not only strengthens OYO’s position in India’s travel tech sector but also highlights the broader growth of the country’s tourism and hospitality industry, driven by increasing domestic travel and demand for curated experiences.
