PAIMANA platform tracks 1,702 projects across ministries to strengthen infrastructure monitoring

The Government of India is enhancing infrastructure monitoring as well as project execution through PAIMANA, which is a platform that facilitates the tracking of 1,702 nationwide projects as of January 2026. This initiative is being rolled out across 17 Central Ministries and Departments to establish a holistic digital infrastructure for nationwide infrastructure as well as development project monitoring. The platform enables authorities to track the progress of infrastructure projects in real-time, which will be helpful in addressing issues that are often encountered. The initiative supports the government’s broader objective of enhancing transparency, efficiency, and accountability in infrastructure development while optimising resource utilisation across sectors.

The platform leverages data-driven insights and digital technologies to support the process of project management effectively. This helps the ministries to evaluate their performance and overcome implementation issues. The initiative of introducing a single monitoring system through PAIMANA will strengthen inter-ministerial coordination. This project will help the government achieve its goals of digital governance and infrastructure-based growth. By this platforms government will be able to ensure that all critical projects related to various sectors such as transportation, energy, and urban development are executed efficiently. The implementation of such technology-based monitoring systems will help accelerate project implementation timelines, investment results, and sustainable growth by improving the overall efficiency of public infrastructure development in the country.
