On Wednesday, PharmEasy, an online pharmacy announced that it has acquired Medlife to grow into the leading platform for healthcare delivery in India.
As part of the acquisition, PharmEasy would have all the customers from Medlife migrated to its platform.
Mr. Dharmil Sheth, PharmEasy Co-founder stated, “This acquisition helps us to strengthens our stance in the healthcare industry of the country substantially, and helps us further to offer quality healthcare to an expanded number of households in India,"
According to PharmEasy, the acquisition has helped the company to become the largest platform for healthcare delivery in India, offering services to > 2 million households per month.
The company added, “PharmEasy looks forward to onboard retail partners from Medlife.”
The company stated that at present, PharmEasy collaborated with ~ 80,000 pharmacies and aims to reach 1,20,000 outlets across 100 cities by the end of 2021.
